Maxwell Hall

Maxwell Hall features several offices, academic departments, resource centers, and a study lounge.

Maxwell Hall is located on the northern edge of Main Campus between the Science Laboratory Center (SLC), Pasteur Hall, Stark Hall, and Somsen Hall.

 

Academic Departments

Social Work
The Social Work departments offer bachelor’s and master’s degree programs for students to become licensed social workers.

The Department of Health, Exercise & Rehabilitative Sciences (HERS) prepares students to work with clients, promote better health, and provide hands-on care in a variety of health career fields.

Located on the first floor, the Admissions Office is your go-to resource when you’re exploring college and applying to WSU. Our counselors are happy to answer your questions about admission requirements, transfer credits, veteran’s benefits, life at WSU, and more.

Study Abroad Office
We encourage students to take advantage of study away opportunities while attending WSU. The Study Abroad Office on the first floor can help you plan for studying away alongside your academic program, complete the application process, and prepare for travel.

The Warrior Hub is your one-stop shop for a variety of services and is located on the second floor of Maxwell Hall. 

Financial Aid

Learn about how to pay for college with financial aid.

You can meet with a financial aid advisor to help you understand the application process and timeline.
Records & Registration Services

Keep all your student records and contact info up to date.

The Records & Registration Services team also handles all things related to your course registration, transcripts, and graduation status.
Billing & Student Accounts

The Warrior Hub handles billing processes for tuition statements and other charges to student accounts.

You can stop by Maxwell 233 if you prefer to make a payment in person.

Once you’ve found the right position, you’ll complete the new hire paperwork at the Warrior Hub.

Campus Card Office
The Campus Card Office issues Warrior ID cards, badges, and copy cards. This team also runs the Purple Pass program, which allows you to deposit money onto your Warrior ID card and treat it as your very own campus debit card.

Warrior Success Center

The Warrior Success Center is located on the third floor of Maxwell Hall and offers resources for students of all academic levels.

Access Services

Students who have a documented disability can work with Access Services to coordinate academic accommodation tailored to their needs.
Advising Services

Academic advisors help students be successful at WSU, such as guidance on choosing a major, improving study skills, and registering for classes.

Career Services

Career Services can help students find jobs while in school and post-graduation careers.

This team hosts job fairs on campus, provides job search workshops, and offers individual career counseling.
