Michelle Eggerichs-Rekstad

Michelle Eggerichs-Rekstad is a native of Winona though she spent 13 of her “growing-up” years in Wisconsin and 2 years in New Mexico. She graduated from Winona Senior High School, Minnesota State College Southeast Technical and Winona State University.

Before coming to work in the WSU History & Legal Studies Department in 2012, she:

• worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant for the law offices of Peterson, Challeen, Delano & Thompson, Ltd., for over 7 years
• owned and operated a bar/restaurant called Bangers Pub for 4 years 
• worked as the Catering Director at Chartwells WSU from 2002 through 2007

Her hobbies include reading, gardening, sewing, embroidery, and crocheting.
