Come join us for a camp or conference at Winona State University, where you can enrich yourself while enjoying all the recreational, cultural and entertainment opportunities Winona has to offer.
WSU Camp & Conference Services offers a full line of conference and event services, with a variety of meeting spaces available year-round, and housing options from mid-May to early August.
WSU is located in Winona, Minnesota, a scenic and welcoming community nestled in the bluffs on the upper Mississippi River Valley.
Winona is within easy driving distance of La Crosse, Wisconsin (about 30 minutes), Rochester, Minnesota (45 minutes), and Minneapolis-St. Paul (2 hours).
We offer support with off-site events and conference program coordination and have successfully coordinated programs ranging from 25-500+ attendees such as:

Explore Summer CampsScrubs Camp is a week-long camp that gives high school students the opportunity to explore professions in the field of healthcare.
Camp Invention is a STEM-centered camp for children in grades K-12.
In this camp, participants will explore, create, and build confidence as they bring their biggest ideas to life.
HOPE Academy is a week-long residential camp, giving high school students the chance to get a taste of college life.
Through this camp, participants will attend college-level courses on topics from leadership to financial and academic barriers.
Through this program, participants can stay in East Lake Apartments while engaged in Senior University, the Learning Club, or just exploring all of the culture, entertainment, and beauty that makes up our city.
Learn More- Traditional residence halls feature double occupancy rooms with common lounges, kitchens, and laundry facilities.
- Kirkland-Haake Hall is an air-conditioned suite-style residence hall with 2-bedroom/4-person units and 4-bedroom/4-person units. Haake Hall also features a multi-purpose conference room.
- East Lake Apartments feature 4-occupancy apartments within walking distance of the main campus.
Linens are available for campers and guests staying in the residence halls for an additional charge. Linens should be requested at the time of booking.
Housekeeping services are not available. The university’s facilities staff members only maintain the cleanliness of the public areas in the residence halls.
The Alumni House is available year-round for alumni, parents, faculty, staff and guests of the University. Four guest bedrooms on the second floor can accommodate eight people comfortably.
The first floor, which is wheelchair accessible, has several amenities for guests to use during their stay, such as a living room with a large flat screen TV, dining room and kitchen. The first floor can also be reserved specifically for meetings and events for up to 25 people.
Whether the occasion calls for traditional food or a special culinary adventure, Chartwells’ Executive Chef and Catering Director can work with you to create a dining experience carefully tailored to your conference, camp, or special event.
Dining Services offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, as well as morning and afternoon snacks. Selections include theme meals, BBQs, outdoor picnics, gourmet box meals, VIP/Executive dining banquets and more.
