East Lake Apartments
East Lake Apartments are located about 4 blocks (or roughly a 12-minute walk) east of Main Campus.
East Lake features apartment-style units that include a kitchen, common area, bathroom, and laundry. There is also a campus shuttle and parking available for students.
Located across from Lake Winona and the majestic Sugar Loaf Bluff, these 4 buildings have the perfect view all year-round. Students are also just minutes away from the biking and walking trails around the lake.
These apartments are a great choice for students who want both the independence of living off campus and the convenience of accessing campus housing amenities. East Lake is a housing option for transfer students and upper-level students that offers an experience between traditional residence halls and independent apartment or house rentals.
All 4 buildings are co-ed, but individual apartment units are single gendered per our housing policies. Gender-Inclusive Housing is available as well.

Amenities
Each East Lake apartment has a full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, sink, and garbage disposal.
There’s also plenty of cupboards for extra storage and counterspace for food preparation.
Students should bring their own kitchen equipment.
Every unit also includes a private common area that’s fully furnished.
Students can use the couch, chairs, coffee table, and end tables for work or play.
There are many lounges throughout the four buildings that students have access to. These lounges are equipped with TVs, comfy furniture, tables and chairs, and a fitness room in Building D.
Students from other residence halls or off-campus guests must have a resident escort them to and from the buildings when visiting.
At the front desk, students can rent board games, movies, basic tools, jumper cables, and more for free.
Another essential near the front desk is a printer for students to print homework assignments, study notes, or lecture notes from class.
This is just one of the many printers across campus, so there’s no need to bring your own.
Students can pick up packages that don’t fit inside their mailbox at the front desk of Building C.
Front desk workers will email residents when their packages arrive.
Students will need to purchase a parking permit.
