Nhia Yang

Nhia Yang grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a BA in Spanish and an MS in Higher Education College Student Development and Administration. Presently, he is completing the Higher Education Administration Doctoral degree at St. Cloud State University.

Mr. Yang is a full beneficiary and alumni of the National TRIO Student Support Services program. Prior to returning to Winona State University, he has served as the TRIO SSS Director at St. Cloud Technical and Community College University and Marian University.

Currently, Mr. Yang is the program Director for the Student Support Services at Winona State University. He manages the day-to-day operation of the office and advocates for its students to succeed.

During his free time, he volunteers and enjoys various outdoor activities such as tennis, golf, bow hunting and fishing. Feel free to drop by his office to talk and get to know Nhia more.
