Career Services offers an array of services and resources to assist faculty and staff as they support students with preparing for graduate school and the world of work.
Refer a Student to Career Services
Career Advisors are available to meet one-on-one with students on a wide range of issues.
Encourage your students to schedule a meeting using Advisor Trac for assistance with:
- Deciding a major and/or minor
- Using Handshake and other resources to find jobs/internships and sign up for events
- Preparing for job and career fairs
- Enhancing interview skills
- Strengthening resumes and cover letters and targeting them to specific opportunities
- Applying for graduate school and writing application essays

Career Services has a series of online resources to support faculty teaching internship courses or serving as internship coordinators.

Interviewing Practice
If your student is looking for interview practice, encourage them to check out Interviewing.com. It’s an excellent tool to enhance your interviewing skills. This resource is a private and free way to practice answering the most common interview questions from anywhere in the world.

Employment & Continuing Education Data
Per the request of Minnesota State, WSU collects employment and continuing education data from recent graduates up to one year after graduation.
Specific data requests should be directed to the IPAR Office.
