Richards Hall
Richards Hall is located on the northwestern corner of Main Campus between Conway Hall and Morey-Shepard halls. Richards, Conway, and Morey-Shepard halls are all connected, and make up the Quad Complex.
Richards Hall features traditional single and double rooms that include a private sink as well as a built-in closet with shelving system. There are mostly double rooms throughout this hall, with a limited number of single rooms on each floor.
It offers students many amenities such as kitchens, a lounge, a laundry facility, an outdoor courtyard, security, and more.
This residence hall is a great option for students who want to feel part of a housing community and be close to their classes as well as any on-campus activities and events.
Richards Hall is a mix of first-year students and returning students. The first and second floors of Richards Hall are designated for male students and the third and fourth floors are designated for female students.
Individual rooms are single gendered per our housing policies.
There are 8 rooms (125-132) on the first floor that are about twice the size of a normal double room. These are designated as double rooms for females (2 people) and are the only traditional rooms with air conditioning.
All rooms also have carpet flooring and windows with blackout shades.
Amenities
The second, third, and fourth floors of Richards Hall have full kitchens equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and sink.
There’s also an eating area in each kitchen with multiple tables and chairs for all building residents to use.
There’s a main lounge in the basement of Richards Hall.
Students can use the various tables, chairs, couches, wall-mounted TV, and pool table for work or play.
Resident Assistants (RAs) host floor and building events in this lounge too.
Near the main lounge is the laundry facility with 4 washers and 4 dryers.
There is an app you can download to track machine usage.
Students from other residence halls or off-campus guests must have a resident escort them within the buildings when visiting.
Another essential near the front desk is a printer for students to print homework assignments, study notes, or lecture notes from class.
This is just one of the many printers across campus, so there’s no need to bring your own.
Students can pick up packages that don’t fit inside their mailbox at the front desk.
Front desk workers will email residents when their packages arrive.
Students can check-out volleyballs from the front desk using their Warrior ID.
