Equity & Inclusive Excellence Scholarships
Scholarships are a great way to earn free money to pay for college. However, scholarship funds often go unclaimed because of the lack of applicants.
Simply applying for a scholarship you think you may qualify for is a low-risk task––and the payoff can be great.
Scholarships are offered to meet the needs of a variety of students, so you just need to find the right one for you. There is no limit to the number of scholarships you can apply for.
By applying for any and all scholarships you can, you could be awarded thousands of dollars of free money!
The Office of Equity & Inclusive Excellence oversees two scholarship opportunities.
You should also look into the many other WSU scholarships to see if you qualify for more free money to help pay for college.
Award Amount: $2,000
How to Qualify
Eligible students must meet one of the following criteria:
- Have an ACT Composite score of 24 or greater
- Have an SAT score of 1100 or greater
- Have a 3.00 GPA or above and be in the top 50% of your high school graduating class
Students who receive the Academic Honors Scholarship are required to participate in the mentor program.
How to Apply
- Complete an online application
- Submit a typed 500-word essay on your experience with leadership, community service and how you are or hope to become a leader at WSU

Award Amount: $500-1,100

- Meet financial need and academic potential requirements
