Getting involved in activities outside the classroom will help you create community, meet new people, advocate for change, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
WSU has over 170 student clubs and organizations, and these clubs work closely with the Office of Equity and Inclusive Excellence.
Bring awareness to Asian cultures through ASN.
ASN is an all-inclusive organization dedicated to creating a fundamental awareness of Asian cultures among the University and greater Winona communities to encourage participation among the students on campus, and to present our views on issues of our community and the world.
Learn more about Black history and culture through BSU. BSU is dedicated to educating the WSU community and the greater Winona community about the different cultures of the African diaspora.
In addition, BSU talks about Black History in America and compares the differences in culture. While we are different, as one we unite.
Find community and awareness of Hmong culture through HASA.
The mission of HASA is to develop friendship among students through cultural and social activities, to educate campus and community members about the Hmong culture, and to provide assistance to members of the WSU community in need of guidance.
HASA also works to create a campus climate that is welcoming and to recruit and encourage other Hmong students to attend WSU.

Learn about and bring awareness to diversity-related issues with the KEAP Diversity Center Council. KEAP Council is a coalition of student leaders from various diversity and cultural groups across campus.
We believe that oppression is multi-dimensional and must be approached with many different angles in mind. We seek to identify and address diversity-related issues both at WSU and in the Winona area.
Find and provide support for all identities through Prism.
Prism is an organization dedicated to supporting individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities, including students, faculty, family members, and the general public.
We are here to educate, support, and look out for the best interest of everyone, regardless of identity.

SOL seeks to develop friendship among students through cultural and social activities, to educate campus and community members about Latino culture, and to provide assistance to members of the WSU community in need of guidance.
SOL also seeks to encourage outreach and engagement of students of all ethnic backgrounds, as well as recruit and encourage other Latino students to attend WSU.

WSU Students for Palestinian Liberation is dedicated to the continued education regarding the occupation of Palestine, including our collective participation in the oppression of the region.
We aim to do tangible work to liberate and decolonize the indigenous people of the land.
WSU Students for Reproductive Justice is a club for students to organize and learn about bodily and reproductive autonomy through the right to have children, not have children, and to parent children in safe and healthy environments.
We work to improve our community through education and advocacy to promote feminist policies that advance reproductive autonomy—and to fight back against harmful restrictions that threaten access to basic health care.
