Performing Arts Center
The Performing Arts Center (PAC) is located in the southeastern corner of Main Campus between the Krueger Library and the Integrated Wellness Complex (IWC).
The PAC features a variety of performance spaces, practice rooms, instrument lockers, and a study lounge on the second floor.
Academic Departments
The Department of Communication Studies teaches students the essentials of communication in any situation through personal and professional development.
The Department of Music offers several bachelor’s programs in band, choir, and orchestra for students who want to perform.
The Department of Theatre & Dance helps students refine their skills in acting, directing, designing, and dancing.
Performance Spaces
The Vivian R. Fusillo Main Stage Theatre is the primary performance venue, seating more than 400 people.
This space hosts theatre and dance performances, large music ensembles, and other community events like the Great River Shakespeare Festival, Frozen River Film Festival, and Beethoven Festival.
The Dorothy B. Magnus Black Box Theatre offers creative and flexible seating configurations for up to 150 people.
This space hosts student- and faculty-directed dramatic and musical performances.
The Recital Hall is the venue for student and faculty solo performances as well as small ensembles.
This space seats just under 200 people, and it also hosts special lecture speakers and visiting artists.
The Recital Hall is known for its acoustics.
There are also many storage lockers throughout the PAC for students to store their instruments and other equipment.
